Understanding relationships: the Chinese Culture

This statue was taken during my work in the Mainland China. In the Chinese Culture, family is the principal element of relationships, and many traditions and rituals have been proposed for that. There were often three generations in one big house, and the elders were considered as wise and respectual people for their long lived experience. All are taught about respecting the elderly. This is a beautiful scene as a child spent time with the elderly, on the common elder’s game, the Chinese Chess.
